6 Things Every LUC Student Does

LUC has a rigorous acceptance policy which selects a particular group of people. What results is a special breed of student. We’ve all done these things, and they are all part and parcel of the LUC experience. Here's our list:
1. Stalk the Dean on Facebook
We've all been there. We've all admired his photography skills in that memorable profile picture.
2. Throw a Watermelon out the Window
It wasn’t me, it wasn’t you. It was all of us.
3. Shop at Albert Heijn
No matter what you do, you can't avoid this entry. Albert Heijn is our favorite supermarket and we can't help it. It’s closer and much more convenient than any other option. To-Go or just the regular experience, Albert Heijn is a MUST for LUCers.
4. Hate on First Years
It is hard to spend a year at LUC and then not look with disdain at the newcomers who inherit everything you’ve been living in. They seem untested and raw, unfamiliar and uninitiated. But as soon as a new cohort comes we are united in hating on the new first years.
5. Puke in the Elevator
Friday night, lots of beer. You see AvB and your body assumes it's already at home. When you get in the elevator your body decides it's going to redecorate.
6. Meet with your Group in the Study Area
If there’s one place which is perfect for group meetings to discuss your work and lives, it’s the study area. It is not just the place where people want to read and study, it’s also the optimal place to have a great time with your group.
